Next iPod Nano to be Wi-Fi Enabled?

Japanese blog Macotakara claims to have information on the next iPod Nano saying for the first time ever the device will be Wi-Fi equipped allowing you to use iTunes in the cloud and download music from the iTunes Store.

Next iPod nano may equip Wi-Fi antenna on side of that case, and support iTunes Music Cloud in order Apple to provide a iconic product to promote the largest Music Store in the world.

Having the iPod Nano have Wi-Fi connectivity might attract users who want a low cost music player for say a workout while allowing them to have Wi-Fi to download or stream music connected to a hotspot.

Apple gives developers Mountain Lion 10.8.2 focuses on Facebook and Messages

Apple today gave mac developers a little love by giving them OS X 10.8.2. The update focuses on Facebook integration and more of what I was hoping for Messages integration across devices. This update will allow you to have iMessages that go to your phone number to go to your Mac too. All you need to do is sign into an iCloud account and if your phone number is registered with it then you are good all though I had to switch it on in the settings. So go get downloading if you haven’t.

Is this the new Apple Cable for iOS devices?

There has been many rumors that the next iPhone is going to be the first iOS device to ditch the 30 Pin Dock Connector for a new 8 or 9 pin dock connector, and this might be the cable for that connector. Apple is also expected to release an iPad Mini to go along with the new iPhone with this new style of dock connectors.

New iPhone and iPad Mini Parts Show Smaller Dock Connector and Repositioned Headphone Jack

We have seen photos of parts that have been said to have a new dock connector and a repositioned headphone jack to have all devices similar in ports.

New leaked parts for what is said to be the new iPad mini and the new iPhone have been released. High res shots of the dock connector reveals a smaller 8 pin dock that is rumored for all the upcoming iOS devices.

A new dock connector seems to worry a lot of people with accessories for the current dock connector. Hopefully for all of you Apple will release an adaptor like they did with Magsafe to Magsafe 2.
